A little NE lesson...
Post me your comments on what you think about the Merlion. You can find them at two places in Singapore. One is at the Singapore River and the other ......at Sentosa! The One found at Sentosa is much much bigger than the one at the Singapore River.

Although i think the look of a mer lion is odd, half fish half lion. I still understand why we take a lion which is because a malay prince named Sang Nila Utama travelled to Temasek(What Singapore was named last time) and saw a Singa which is malay for lion and gave"Temasek" a new name, Singa Pura. The drama club is going to perform this legend for us on National Day Which is this Friday. We will have a poem recited to us by ME, Zandra and Aleeza. cheryl
