Post Exam Activities

Hi 2B,
I know that it is a time to rejoice as many of us have done very well compared to our SA1 results. However, we need to be in touch with our subjects and continue our learning process. Here are some links for you.....

• English - You will find Spelling games, Vocabulary and Grammar Games here!
• Maths - Revise topics such as Money and Time here!
• Science - Here are some topics that you will be exposed to when you are promoted to P3. It's never too early to learn and be informed!

Comments on SA2 results

Hi 2B,
I am very glad to report that our class has done very well for our SA2. You have received both your English and Mathematics papers. Mdm Noraini and I have tabulated the final scores and are pleased to annouce that most of you have improved in your SA2. We are very proud of you boys and girls! Keep it up!

You will receive your report cards next week!! I'm sure your parents will be proud of you.

Revision for SA2

Hi 2B,

We've completed at least 90% of our revision for English & Maths. When you return from your long 4-day holiday, we would have covered all. All files and workbooks will be returned to you by tomorrow. Do have a fruitful time revising your work.

We have completed 2 mock SA2 papers for both EL and Maths. I should say that I deliberately set a difficult EL paper just to see where each of you stand. But I should say that many of you have rised to the challenge and have proved yourself well. The Maths paper too was not very easy but I am glad many have improved and it is evident that you used the strategies that I have taught you.

We will do 2 more papers after you return from your break. So study hard...do play when you have to, indulge in your favourite hobbies to feel less stressed as well too. So have fun and be wise! See you after the holidays!!!

Hari Raya Celebration in EDP

Wow, we had a great performance today by all our Muslim friends and teachers, I hope you have learnt more about the Malay traditional practices and culture. Congratulations to the 17 pupils who have won tokens for the quiz posted in the portal. U guys were in the top 20. I'm so proud of you! Many of our Malay pupils from 2B have also taken part and graced the event. Here are the sneek peeks!

A Timely Reminder

Dear Pupils,

Time flies so fast. It is now October. This is a short month..as we have quite a number of school holidays. Our Hari Raya and Children's Day holidays are just over. Coming up next will be 4 days of PSLE marking days (16 - 21) Oct. Finally we will have the Deepavali holiday on 27 Oct. Please continue revising your work. All the exam papers have been set and are ready.

Your exams begin with your EL Composition - 23 Oct....followed by the other papers...

• MT - 31 Oct

Our Excursion to Jurong Bird Park

Hey Children,
So are you guys and gals thrilled about our visit to the Bird Park? Yeah we will be carrying out something unique. We will be using our EPCs to conduct our English & Maths trail. Yes no worksheets. We will be using resources online. You do not need a camera as well. We will use the EPC to take shots. We will also be attending a lesson on Nests & Eggs - related to our EL Unit on Animal Homes. Do take care of the EPCs - you have been trained to use them. Do pack a small bag with some snacks, water bottle and raincoat. Bear in mind that we have our Muslim friends who are fasting - so be considerate.

Sept Holiday Homework

Dear 2B,

I have assigned you 2 online assignments in your EDP portal. One for English and the other for Maths. Those of you without a computer or internet access - never fear - You can always come to our school library from 2nd to the 4th Sept and use the computers there. You will have to download the assignments, save them under your name. Complete the assignment and attach the file when you are submitting them back to me. We have done these before. I have given both the hardcopy and softcopy of how to do it in the portal. read the instructions in the portal.
